A Beckwith family legacy
Our Story

Donated by a family. Sustained by neighbors.

The Fowler Grove was originally donated to the Hannah Women’s Society by John D. Beckwith Sr. The grounds were cleared and the building erected to host Society functions, church picnics, family reunions, weddings, and meetings — even serving as the local polling place over the years.

When the Women’s Society stepped back in 2016, the Beckwith family chose to incorporate it as the Fowler Grove Community Center, Inc. — keeping it intact, keeping it open, and keeping it true to the original purpose: a place where the community can come together.
